Sales Coordinator—Full-Time (Maternity Leave Cover)

Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised person to join our sales team as a Sales Coordinator at our Port Melbourne office. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role involves a combination of sales support, administrative tasks, customer service, and communication
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the sales and administration process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Respond to inquiries and provide support for incoming new sales requests.
- Provide valuable support to the sales team through various administrative tasks.
- Design order forms, create PowerPoint presentations, and compile advance information sheets for the sales team’s use.
- Prepare submissions and PowerPoint presentations for key retailers.
- Packing and dispatching physical sales kits and samples.
- Liaise effectively with both internal and external partners.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven ability to efficiently manage and prioritise tasks.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential, and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems is a strong asset. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign is advantageous.
- Previous experience in the publishing/bookselling industry or related tertiary education is desirable.
