Role: Publishing & Licensing Executive (Parental Leave Cover)
Contract type: Full-time, Contract (14 months)
Location: Sydney, Hybrid

Excellent opportunity for a publishing or media professional to join the BBC Studios Licensing Consumer Products Team.

Your Role:

You will manage editorial product development and approvals for the ANZ Bluey publishing program, including books and magazines, as well as assist in the management, delivery and growth of licensing revenue for BBCS trademark properties and brands. You will work with the Head of Brands and Licensing in identifying product opportunities, selling and renewing licences to suitable partners and nurturing commercial relationships. All with a view to increasing profit margins and enhancing consumer awareness of BBC brands, working towards specific revenue targets.

About You:

You are a proactive, adaptable, attention to detail oriented professional with minimum 2-3 years’ experience in book or magazine publishing (licensed publishing experience strongly desirable).

You have knowledge of Product Licensing, retail and/or consumer product experience.

Experience in Brand and/or product Licensing, media sector or FMCG sector strongly desirable. Ability to influence and a great team player.

Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
