Rainbow Road board books recalled
Eight books in the Rainbow Road board book series, published by Make Believe Ideas, are being recalled because of concerns they could cause a choking hazard.
In a statement published on 5 October, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said the eight books, which were sold individually and in a four-book gift box set, are bound with circular binding rings that can be torn free and cause a choking hazard.
Retailers who sold the books include Collins, Dymocks, QBD, Costco, Kmart, Target, Amazon and Booktopia, among others. Customers who think their book is included in the recall can confirm by checking the ISBN printed on the back cover. If affected, they can then visit Make Believe Ideas’ recall page for a refund.
