Echo Publishing, the Australian arm of the family-owned Bonnier group, is looking for a Publicity Maternity Cover for 9 Months (with opportunity to extend). We publish a focused list of quality Australian fiction and non-fiction titles, and while our team takes pride in working closely and collaboratively with each of our authors, we also enjoy the support of Bonnier’s resources, including access to international markets.

This position will be responsible for the management and implementation of the company’s publicity planning and budget, including media coverage, event scheduling and day-to-day liaison with authors. On average, there will be three campaigns a month, as well as on-going author care.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced book publicist, (minimum of 5–7 years), who is interested in working with our small, dynamic team, on a range of interesting books, with very hardworking, talented authors. While we have a full publicity plan and process in place, we welcome innovation and creativity in the way in which we support our books. The position will be hybrid: working from home with one day a week in the office.
