ABIA-shortlisted young adult novel Stuck Up & Stupid by Angourie and Kate Rice selected for Reese’s Book Club

ABIA-shortlisted YA novel Stuck Up & Stupid by Angourie and Kate Rice has been selected for Reese’s Book Club, a huge milestone for this dynamic mother-daughter debut.

Released in Australia in November 2023 by Walker Books Australia, Stuck Up & Stupid is a reimagining of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, updated for a new generation. Set against the backdrop of modern life, the novel channels the wit, romance, and social commentary of Austen’s original, while exploring the challenges and triumphs of coming of age in the 2020s.

Following its strong reception in Australia, the novel was released this week in the US and UK with an updated cover that features the highly coveted Reese’s Book Club sticker. Updated copies will be in Australian stores later this month.
