Fremantle Press relocates to permanent loction

Fremantle Press has announced the relocation of its office to the historic SEC Substation, 10 Parry Street, Fremantle. This relocation will coincide with the publisher’s 50th anniversary in 2026.

Fremantle Press is partnering with CircusWA to purchase the building, where each organisation will own a separate strata lot. The purchase was assisted by Adrian and Michela Fini who are providing each organisation with a low-interest loan, and the WA state government who contributed $500,000 for the move.

‘The move will secure a much-needed permanent home for each organisation, while preserving and activating an underutilised heritage building in the soon-to-be reinvigorated East End of the port city,’ said the publisher in a statement.

Fremantle Press Chair Clair Medhurst said, ‘With this new chapter, we are setting the stage for an even stronger future – one where we continue to champion WA voices while opening up the Press to create a community hub for both writers and readers.’
