Invitation to participate in research – understanding the impacts of digital platforms on the Australian trade book publishing industry

How has your role changed due to digital platforms? We’re looking for staff from publishing houses of all sizes to share their experiences and help us understand the impact platforms have had on the trade book publishing industry – from manuscript acquisition to distribution, measurements of success, book reception and everything in between.

This research is the basis for a PhD thesis by University of Sydney student Doris Prodanovic. It aims to chart the evolution of the book publishing industry in parallel with the development of digital platforms over 30 years.
