Hachette Australia has an exciting opportunity to join our incredible Administration team as the Office Coordinator. This is a permanent full-time position based in our Sydney CBD head office.
The main purpose of this role will be to provide effective and efficient customer service and be a first point of contact for all visitors to the Hachette Australia and Indigenous Literacy Foundation offices.
As the Office Coordinator you will report to the Events and Executive Support Manager and will work alongside the Team Administrator in managing the administrative needs of both organisations.
Some of the key responsibilities of the Office Coordinator are:
- Front-of-house support – welcome guests, manage all calls and email queries.
- Office operations – manage maintenance, mail, supplies, equipment, vendor liaison, WH&S.
- Event support – order catering, gifts and assist with event set up and pack down
- Meeting rooms – video conferencing support and visitor coordination.
- People support – Handle ad-hoc administration for teams and assistance as required.
- Continuous improvement – keep all shared spaces tidy and processes lean.
