Port Fairy Literary Weekend announces program

Port Fairy Literary Weekend, which runs 12–14 September, has announced its full program.

Headliners include Helen Garner, Jock Serong, Emily Maguire, Sharmini Kumar and Jayne Tuttle.

The festival will open with a meet and greet between invited guests and ticket holders, along with Carrie Tiffany’s Bitten: Three Snake Stories. Other events over the weekend include a children’s street fair party, a wine and wisdom session featuring Barry Jones and Judith Brett, Garner and Serong talking about football and family, and sessions on biography, crime, historical fiction, and mysteries.

The closing session, titled ‘Iconic’, features Garner in conversation with Katherine Hattam.
