World Kid Lit Reading Challenge Award

WorldKidLit has announced a new award for schools ‘to promote international and inclusive reading’, said organisers.

Running through September and open internationally, the award aims to encourage reading, connect young people to international perspectives and share the value of second languages.

The winner will be chosen for ‘the most imaginative, innovative or inclusive presentations where students reflect on what they’ve read’ and will receive a book package as the prize.

The award is open to students up to the age of 18, with a younger category (0–6), middle category (7–12) and an older category (13–18).

More information is available on the WorldKidLit website.
