The Booksellers Association of Aotearoa New Zealand announces Bookshop Day

The Booksellers Association of Aotearoa New Zealand has announced that national Bookshop Day will run on Saturday 11 October 2025, to encourage readers to celebrate their local bookstores.
This year’s featured artwork is by Donovan Bixley – inspired by the Booksellers Association themes of ‘community, hope and fun’.
Bookshop events and shopping incentives include Enamoured Books hosting individually designed flash tattoo experiences; and Books on High offering tote bags and keep cups, as well as a Pride and Prejudice giveaway.
