Meanjin archive to be ‘made available for free’

Literary journal Meanjin will make its complete archive available online for free from February 2026, according to a post made to the journal’s social media pages.
This follows news late last week that Melbourne University Publishing ceased funding for the 85-year-old publication, forcing it to close on 4 September.
In the meantime, current print and digital subscribers will continue to have full access to the archive, added the post.
