StoryBox Hub named Victorian finalist in the Telstra Best of Business Awards
Digital storytelling platform StoryBox Hub has been named a Victorian State Finalist in the Telstra Best of Business Awards 2025, with recognition in two categories: Building Communities and Embracing Innovation. The finalists were selected from over 22,000 entries, celebrating the ‘best small and medium-sized businesses helping build Australia’s economic, social and cultural prosperity.’
StoryBox Hub CEO, Nicole Brownlee, said ‘Being named a finalist feels surreal. What began 13 years ago as a passion for children’s books has grown into something far greater, and I’m so proud this recognition shines a light on our incredible industry. I’m deeply grateful to my amazing team and humbled to stand alongside so many inspiring companies.’
StoryBox Hub is the home to StoryBox Library, a digital library of immersive story videos from Australia’s most celebrated children’s creators, read by a diverse cast of storytellers, plus creative writing resource Story Tools. The platform is used in over 30% of Australian primary schools, 80% of public libraries, and a growing community of early learning centres, as well as schools and institutions across the world.
StoryBox Hub would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the authors, illustrators and publishers who have helped make our platform the go-to digital literacy resource for kids across the country. We are proud to be recognised as among the best businesses in Australia, and equally proud to support the incredible work of the local children’s publishing industry. Our team are excited to continue helping ensure that every child, no matter their postcode, background or ability, can experience the transformative power of storytelling.
The State Winners of the Telstra Best of Business Awards will be announced October 3rd and will go on to represent Victoria on the national stage.
