Stella Day Out announces new Melbourne event

Literary organisation Stella has announced a second Stella Day Out event in Melbourne.

The evening event is set to take place on 28 October at Quest NewQuay in the Docklands, Victoria, and will feature 2025 Stella-longlisted author Samah Sabawi (Cactus Pear for My Beloved, Penguin) in conversation with Jaclyn Crupi.

Stella Day Out is a free one-day literary festival that ‘celebrates and promotes the outstanding contributions of women and non-binary writers to Australian literature’.

The organisation has also recently run events in Warrnambool, Adelaide, Sydney, Darwin, Brisbane, Canberra and Hobart. Future events are also planned in Perth, Ballarat and Aireys Inlet. Programs are released individually.
