PRH acquires Wilson’s ‘I Eat the Stars’
Penguin Random House Australia (PRH) has acquired I Eat the Stars: How to Live Fully and Beautifully in a Collapsing World by Sarah Wilson.
I Eat the Stars is a guide on joy and meaning for ‘when the world is falling apart’, said the publisher. ‘Wilson delves into the pressing questions of our time, examining economic, energy, population and climate models, and engaging with philosophers, poets and spiritual leaders.’
Originally from Canberra and now based in Paris, Wilson is the author of first, we make the beast beautiful (Macmillan, 2017), and This One Wild and Precious Life: A Hopeful Path Forward in a Fractured World (Macmillan, 2020). She speaks on ‘modern philosophy, creativity, existential risk and climate change’ via her Wild podcast. She lives between Paris and Sydney.
Penguin Publishing Lab head Izzy Yates said, ‘Sarah’s ability to find beauty and meaning in the midst of turmoil is truly inspiring, and we believe this book will resonate deeply with everyone who encounters it.’
PRH plans to release I Eat The Stars on 2 June 2026.
