Hardie Grant acquires Galea book on dreams

Hardie Grant has acquired world rights to A–Zzz of Dreams: Decoding Your Dreams and Deciphering Your Future, in a two-book deal with Matt Galea.

A–Zzz of Dreams is a guide to the meaning of nightly visions “using the lens of both mysticism and science”. Illustrated in full-colour by Argentinian artist and designer Daiana Ruiz, the book aims to help readers gain a deeper understanding of their psyches and make positive changes in their lives. “It’s an essential bedtime companion for astrology and psychology lovers alike,” said the announcement.

Galea said, “Everyone has woken up from a dream feeling bewildered by what they just experienced and curious about what it might mean. That’s where this book comes in! It’s the ultimate dream decoder, designed to help you make sense of your dreams and uncover what your mind is trying to tell you.”

The second book will explore a different mystical topic.

Galea is a journalist, editor and astrologer with more than 10 years of experience in the media. He is deputy editor and resident astrologer at Pedestrian.tv. His first book, How To Spot The (Star) Signs, was released in 2023.

Acquiring editor Alice Hardie-Grant said, “When Matt Galea arrived in my inbox, I was really excited. He sent two book proposals and I loved them both. It wasn’t just the concepts that I loved, but his writing, which is fun, clever and relatable. A-Zzz of Dreams is a book to keep on your bedside table and return to time and time again.”

Hardie Grant plans to publish A–Zzz of Dreams in April 2026, followed by the second of the two books in September 2026.
