In Aotearoa New Zealand, the 2026 NZ Booklovers Awards shortlists have been announced.

The awards, now in their eighth year, celebrate Aotearoa New Zealand authors.
Winners will be announced on 19 March. Each category winner receives NZ$500 (A$420).
