Novel Insight Reviewers’ Choice Award winners announced

Novel Insight has announced the winners of the inaugural Reviewers’ Choice Award for children’s books.

The winners in each category are:

Junior primary (4 to 8 years old)

• Ella and the Amazing Frog Orchestra (Cassy Polimeni & Hykie Breeze, UWA Publishing)

Upper primary (9 to 13 years old)

• Trapped! (Julia Lawrinson, Fremantle Press)

Secondary (13 to 17 years old)

• Anna’s War (DJ Taylor, Riveted Press).

Winners receive a cash prize of $250 and a subscription to Novel Insight. The award aims to highlight books reviewed by Novel Insight that received a high rating. Founded in late 2023, Novel Insight is a book review service and bookstore aimed at schools and families and managed by children’s publisher Wombat Books.
