Fitzroy Writers Festival 2026 program announced

Yarra Libraries has released the program for this year’s Fitzroy Writers Festival, running on 18 April.
To be held in inner Melbourne’s Fitzroy Town Hall, sessions are set to cover genres from short fiction to poetry and celebrate the “knowledge, wisdom, craft and artistic rigour” of the local community.
Speakers this year include Leah Manaema Avene, Tony Birch, Micaela Sahhar, Antoun Issa, Uncle Wayne Atkinson, Bri Lee, Maxine Beneba Clark, Osman Faruqi, Namila Benson and Matilda Boseley.
