The role
We are seeking experienced marketers to join our community of top talent in the publishing industry. As a Reedsy marketer, you will work with authors from around the world to help their stories reach the right audience.

We are looking for professionals with expertise in any of:

• Book marketing strategy for launch & growth
• Metadata & blurb optimisation
• Email marketing
• Paid advertising
• Social media for authors

You will receive project requests tailored to your skills and genre preferences and choose which projects you’d like to take on. You will set your own rates and we’ll automatically handle contracts and payments for you.

The most successful professionals on Reedsy don’t just complete a task—they guide clients through the process and help them feel confident in their decisions. This means:

• Providing guidance on how to maintain or use the assets you deliver.
• Being explicit about any ongoing tasks the client will need to manage.
• Where full outsourcing is unrealistic, educate clients so they can make informed decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant marketing experience in the services you provide.
• Proven experience marketing at least 5 commercially successful books. (To provide paid advertising services, you can also submit successful projects in industries other than publishing).

Experience with a renowned publishing company, or a history of high-quality work with a bestselling author or book will be positively valued.
