We are currently looking for a Children’s Bookseller with a passion for all books and reading to join our team. This exciting position serves our loyal customers in Crows Nest and the lower North Shore of Sydney. You will use your passion and interest in reading, coupled with a friendly interpersonal style, to recommend books to customers, run our children’s book clubs and assist with our schools’ programs. Being a medium sized independent bookstore, you will be involved in many aspects of the store operation across both the kids and main shops. This can include, receiving stock, merchandising and processing returns. A fast-paced retail environment within an established team will suit a candidate with strong initiative and the ability to effectively balance multiple tasks. Candidates should have a minimum of 6-12 months bookselling, a focus on Children’s bookselling will be highly regarded to succeed in this fast-paced environment.
