Publishing Triangle Awards winners announced

In the US, the Publishing Triangle, an association of LGBTQ+ people in publishing, has announced winners for the 2026 Publishing Triangle Awards.

Winners were announced for 10 categories, including:

The Ferro-Grumley Award for LGBTQ+ Fiction

  • Drought (Scott Alexander Hess, Rebel Satori Press)

The Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction

  • Lonely Crowds: A Novel (Stephanie Wambugu, Canongate Trade)

The Judy Grahn Award for Lesbian Nonfiction

  • Beyond the Lesbian Vampire: Reclaiming the Violent Lesbian in Contemporary Queer Horror (Sam Tabet, University of Wales Press)

The Randy Shilts Award for Gay Nonfiction

  • Baldwin: A Love Story (Nicholas Boggs, Bloomsbury).

The Publishing Triangle previously announced the Bill Whitehead Lifetime Achievement Award, which was awarded to poet Chrystos.
