Marketing coordinator – consumer and education focus, New South Wales

Role Overview:

Supports the company’s marketing activities directed to consumer and education markets including content creation and management for educational marketing; coordinates advertising activity including bookings and asset delivery; is responsible for social media platforms, content creation and community engagement and leading book marketing campaigns as directed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day coordination of social media platforms, content scheduling and creation and community engagement
  • Briefing monthly social media and digital assets and creating assets for select titles as directed
  • Monthly social media and digital advertising reporting
  • Administer advertising schedule, coordinating bookings and deliverables and ensuring campaigns are delivered to schedule and budget
  • Digital/social media advertising coordination on Meta, Google and Amazon and other online platforms
  • Coordination of education marketing activity and relationships,
  • Coordination, briefing and/or creation (as directed) of educational resources
  • Updating the website with educational resources and sharing on social media platforms
  • Creation and distribution of monthly education newsletters
  • Leading campaign activity as directed, including liaising with authors, campaign tracking and reporting, briefing and coordinating all related campaign assets

Skills and Experience

  • Time management and organisation, ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks with efficient prioritisation
  • Able to work collaboratively and supportively within a team as well as independently to caretake their role and responsibilities
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite skills, a keen eye for design and familiarity with design programs beneficial (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Ability to write engaging marketing copy and design briefs
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with social media platforms, software and trends, as well as industry and current cultural trends
