Melbourne Books acquires Takako Tamura’s “Sauces: Eats and Beats”
Melbourne Books has acquired world rights to Sauces: Eats and Beats by Takako Tamura.
The “combination of cookbook and culture” draws on Tamura’s Japanese heritage and shares the recipes for the sauces that “make her Fitzroy restaurant Izakaya by Tamura beloved”, according to the publisher.
Each recipe is accompanied by an original track composed by Izakaya by Tamura chef Moyou.
“As someone with roots in both the cooking and DJ-ing worlds, Takako Tamura understands the need for cooking to be an experience all too well. This book will arm you with sauces that will elevate every meal. Try them with their accompanying suggested recipe or drizzle them on one of your favourites for an elevated flavour experience.”
Melbourne Books plans to publish Sauces: Eats and Beats in November.
