Major Street Publishing appoints Simon & Schuster Australia as Distribution Partner

Major Street, a leading Australian business book publisher, and an imprint of Moore Street Media, is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon & Schuster Australia as its new sales and distributor in Australia and New Zealand, effective Wednesday, July 1.

The new distribution marks an important step in Major Street’s continued growth with Moore Street Media, and commitment to delivering exceptional service to booksellers, authors and readers across the region.

Simon & Schuster Australia already distributes Moore Street’s other publishing imprints, including Rockpool Publishing, Gelding Street Press and Sweet Hearts Press. Aligning Major Street with the group’s existing distribution arrangements creates a more integrated sales and distribution platform while supporting future growth across the business, and into international markets.

Major Street also acknowledges the contribution of Hachette Australia and Alliance Distribution Services, which has sold and distributed the company’s titles since January 2020.

As Major Street looks ahead, the company remains focused on publishing outstanding business books, supporting authors and expanding its presence globally, through Simon & Schuster international services.
