Griffin Poetry Prize announced

The winners of the international and Canadian Griffin Poetry Prizes were announced in Toronto on 1 June. The international prize went to Kamau Brathwaite's Born to Slow Horses (Wesleyan University Press) and the Canadian prize to Sylvia Legris' Nerve Squall (Coach House Books).
