Alderman wins Orange Award for New Writers

Further to last week's announcement of the Orange Prize (won by Zadie Smith), the £10,000 (A$23,600) Orange Award for New Writers has been presented to Naomi Alderman for Disobedience (Penguin), a novel set in north London's Orthodox Jewish community.
