RiP Philippa Pearce

Children's book author and editor Ann Philippa Pearce has died of a stroke at the age of 86. Pearce produced more than 30 children's books during her career, including the popular Carnegie Award-winning Tom's Midnight Garden (Puffin), which was later developed into a film, stage play and several TV adaptations....
