February retail figures ‘sluggish’

February retail sales figures, as measured by the Cashcard Retail Activity Index, have dropped by 0.6% to $18.6 billion, leading the National Retail Association (NRA) to describe conditions as ‘sluggish'.‘These figures show that people are more preoccupied than usual with servicing debt,' the NRA's CEO Patrick McKendry told the ABC....
