New ‘Books+Publishing’ reviews out now
Books+Publishing’s latest Reviews newsletter contains six reviews of books publishing in November.
Among the reviews is a five-star review of Barry Hill’s Peacemongers (UQP). ‘This is an immense book in length, content and quality, and a journey well worth taking,’ writes reviewer Chris Harrington. ‘Barry Hill has combined a travel narrative with a meditation on history and peace.’
Also reviewed are Nightingale (Fiona McIntosh, Michael Joseph), Australia on Horseback (Cameron Forbes, Macmillan), Bibliodiversity (Susan Hawthorne, Spinifex Press), Kerry Stokes (Andrew Rule, HarperCollins) and Something Quite Peculiar (Steve Kilbey, Hardie Grant).
