Heiss among new appointees to Library Board of Queensland

Author Anita Heiss is one of nine new appointees to the Library Board of Queensland, announced by the Queensland government this week.

The appointees will serve a three-year term beginning on 1 March. Also appointed to the board were Andrew Griffiths, Linda Apelt, Sandra Phillips, Tom Cochrane, Marek Kowalkiewicz, Bob Shead, Malcolm McMillan and Julia Leu.

Griffiths, who is acting executive dean of business, economics and law at the University of Queensland, has been appointed chair.
