‘Books+Publishing’ launches ‘Think Australian’ newsletter

Books+Publishing has launched a free monthly newsletter about the Australian book industry aimed at an international audience of publishers, rights managers, scouts, literary agents, and film and TV agents.

The Think Australian newsletter will be published monthly and will include the latest Australian rights sales and acquisitions, award-winners and bestsellers, as well as profiles of Australian publishers, acquiring editors and authors. You can view the first newsletter here.

We will also be publishing a free monthly Think Australian Junior newsletter focusing on Australian children’s and YA books, which will launch next Thursday.

These newsletters complement our annual Think Australian magazine, which has been distributed at the Frankfurt Book Fair for the past 14 years.

The newsletters are supported by the Australia Council’s Visiting International Publishers (VIPs) 2015-16 project fund.

Books+Publishing encourages Australian readers to forward the Think Australian newsletter to their international colleagues and direct them to sign up to the Think Australian and Think Australian Junior newsletters here.

Australian publishers and literary agents who are interested in advertising their titles in Think Australian can contact advertising sales manager Fi Tunnicliff at advertising@thorpe.com.au. For editorial submissions, contact books.publishing@thorpe.com.au.
