‘The Invisible War’ authors to appear on Books+Arts, 3RRR radio and Fairfax papers

The Invisible War, winner of the 2017 Most Underrated Book Award, is a graphic novel set in World War I, and combines action with ‘an exciting style of science writing that is far from textbook’, according to the award’s judges Toni Jordan, Sarah L’Estrange and Megan O’Brien.

The book is a collaboration published by the Scale Free Network and created by a team of writers, illustrators and scientists.

Creators and publishers Briony Barr and Gregory Crocetti, and illustrator Ben Hutchings will be interviewed by Michael Cathcart on Radio National Books+Arts this Thursday, 23 November.

Author Ailsa Wild and illustrator Ben Hutchings will be interviewed on Melbourne radio 3RRR, on the ‘Multi-storied’ program next Wednesday, 29 November.

The title will also be covered in the Age this Saturday, 25 November.
