ALIA prepares for Library Lovers’ Day on 14 February

The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) will host its annual Library Lovers’ Day on 14 February.
The event will be launched by the Parliamentary Friends of Australian Books and Writers at Parliament House in Canberra on 13 February.
ALIA has sought love letters from prominent Australian authors on the place that libraries hold in their hearts, and is using these letters to create promotional material.
ALIA is asking library professionals to share their Library Lovers’ Day stories on Twitter and Facebook, using the hashtag #libraryloversday. For more information, click here.
