Spinifex Press celebrates 30 years

Founded in March 1991, Spinifex Press is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a series of Zoom events, beginning with ‘Welcome to Country’ on Thursday, 18 March.

The event includes talks by Judy Atkinson AM; Poppy Lever, director of Warlayirti Art Centre; Tjiliwa Helen Nagomara, Chair of Kapululangu Aboriginal Women’s Law and Culture Centre; Nakarra Marie Mudgedell, former Kapululangu Chair and current Song Woman; and Zohl dé Ishtar, author of Holding Yawulyu and Daughters of the Pacific, among others.
