Plain English Foundation is looking for a new managing editor to lead our editing and communications team. As Australia’s leading plain English business, we specialise in editing and writing evaluations for government and private clients. We are based in the Sydney CBD, with some work from home.

Our managing editor manages our editing products and team of four editors, and needs:

• A solid background in professional editing and a relevant tertiary degree
• Strong project management, administrative and production scheduling skills
• Experience in meeting sales and revenue targets, and doing business analysis and reporting
• Strong customer service and client relationship skills.

This is a great opportunity to:

• Do substantive plain English editing
• Manage major editing and communications projects and collateral
• Help build our existing services and products.
