In this cross-functional role, you’ll report to the UK Key Account Sales Manager while actively supporting the Australian Key Account team, playing a vital role in driving lead generation, sales data analysis, and commercial opportunity management across the AU Publishing business.
This isn’t just admin — it’s a chance to be a strategic partner in the sales journey, from initial enquiry to commercial conversion.
The Role
- Providing end-to-end support for sales projects and key client relationships in the AU market.
- Engaging directly with clients at various stages of the sales cycle, asking insightful, solution-oriented questions to better understand their needs.
- Inputting and managing lead data across platforms like Salesforce and spreadsheets, ensuring pipeline accuracy and visibility.
- Triaging, qualifying, and following up on leads — with a sales and commercial mindset guiding every touchpoint.
- Identifying future sales opportunities and maintaining a well-organised strategic pipeline, reported regularly through internal systems.
- Operating autonomously, using sound judgement to support the wider sales strategy and spot growth opportunities.
You
- A background working in, or studying, the publishing industry.
- A confident communicator, able to engage with clients and internal teams at all stages of the sales journey.
- A switched-on solution seller — curious, commercially aware, and always asking the right questions to uncover opportunity.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of processes with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with Salesforce, spreadsheets, and CRM/reporting tools.
- Naturally organised, commercially savvy, and proactive in driving outcomes.
