Aotearoa NZ Audiobook of the Year Award finalists

The Publishers Association of New Zealand/Te Rau o Tākupu (PANZ) and Booksellers Aotearoa New Zealand have announced the finalists for the 2025 Libro.fm Audiobook of the Year Award.

The six finalists are:

  • Return to Blood (Michael Bennett, narrated by Miriama McDowell, S&S)
  • A Queen This Fierce and Deadly (Stacia Stark, narrated by Meg Sylvan and Tim Paige, Dreamscape Media)
  • The Bone People (Keri Hulme, narration and original taonga puoro music by Ruby Solly, PRH NZ)
  • BBQ Economics: How Money Works and Why it Matters (Liam Dann, narrated by Liam Dann, PRH NZ)
  • Dead Girl Gone (Gareth and Louise Ward, narrated by Felicity Jurd and Yannick Lawry, PRH NZ)
  • Finding Miriama (Donna Goodacre, narrated by Naomi Barton, Voices of Today).

The winner will be presented during the Book Industry Awards night on 19 July 2025.
