Linda Nix has been awarded the 2026 Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd) Janet Mackenzie Medal.
The Janet Mackenzie Medal is IPEd’s highest honour and recognises “outstanding service to the editing profession and exceptional contribution to the editorial community”.
Said the organisation: “Across nearly 30 years, Linda has shaped the profession through editing, mentoring, professional development and her leadership of IPEd’s accreditation scheme, helping strengthen standards and accessibility for editors across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
“We’re proud to celebrate Linda’s achievement and lasting impact on the profession.”
