Campaign coordinator, Melbourne

Pitch Projects

Pitch is a small but mighty team of strategic communications and media professionals working across culture, policy and advocacy — with clients spanning arts organisations, publishers, government, institutions, universities, business and not-for-profits. We believe in the power of art, culture and thoughtful policy to shift perspectives and challenge the status quo.

We’re looking for a Campaign Coordinator to join our team across a diverse mix of clients and campaigns — from confirming a major TV interview to planning a national author tour to rallying support around a festival or ensuring every newsdesk has a landmark new report. This is a great next step for someone in an entry-level role, or an early-career professional wanting to build experience across Australia’s publishing, cultural and media industries in a down-to-earth, collegiate team.

You’ll be: drafting media materials, developing and monitoring social content, coordinating media outreach, and liaising with talent and clients — with scope to grow into leading your own campaigns.

You’ll bring:

  • A degree in media, communications or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–4 years’ experience in PR, communications or publishing
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape
  • Copywriting and editorial skills
  • Confident written, verbal and interpersonal communication
  • Familiarity with MailChimp/Campaign Monitor, Canva and GSuite

Why Pitch: flexible hybrid working, a birthday day off, a family- (and dog-!) friendly team, a South Melbourne office near the market, cultural event invites, hands-on PR mentorship, and genuine room to grow the role.

To apply: send a one-page cover letter addressing the essential requirements, CV and references to terri@pitchprojects.com by COB 20 July 2026. Full PD available on request.
