Leading independent business book publisher, with a growing list of popular trade titles, Major Street is seeking a highly motivated publishing professional to join our creative team in the role of commissioning editor.

The successful applicant will be responsible for commissioning new business, personal finance, professional development and wellbeing books.

The role will suit a proactive, organised individual with excellent communication skills, a love of reading and being involved in creating great books! Prior experience in a publishing house is essential. Candidates will need to be strong in relationship-building, display research and analytical skills, as well as have a flair for creative thinking.

The commissioning editor will work closely with Major Street’s publisher and founder to grow the publishing program and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.
