Murdoch Books, Australia’s market-leading lifestyle publisher and a division of Allen & Unwin, is looking for a national account manager to join our sales team based in Crows Nest, Sydney.

Murdoch Books is committed to sharing new conversations and fresh ideas from authors and creators from Australia and around the world. Our award-winning local publishing list includes bestselling authors such as Neil Perry, Alice Zaslavsky, Chloe Hayden and Emelia Jackson.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate some previous experience in national account management, ideally from within a books, film, music or other arts and lifestyle organisations. A track record of achieving sales targets along with outstanding communication and negotiating skills are essential, as is the proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships, identify promotional opportunities, and be a solutions-based thinker.
