Penguin Random House seeks an enthusiastic Publicist for our Launch team in North Sydney. Join our creative and collaborative environment at one of Australia’s dynamic publishers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage innovative publicity campaigns for Australian and international authors.
• Promote books and authors across media platforms using press releases, pitching, and content marketing.
• Co-monitor publicity email and assist with team reporting.
• Communicate with stakeholders including colleagues, authors, agents, event organizers, and media.
• Organize author events and manage tour strategies.
• Represent PRH at events, meetings, and presentations.
• Set up interviews and address ad hoc requests for PRH titles.

You are:

• Creative, organized, and able to multitask.
• Proficient in new systems and managing multiple projects.
• Skilled in identifying media angles for various mediums.
• Passionate about books and reading, with knowledge of national and regional media.
• Enthusiastic and able to work under pressure.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of national and regional media.
