Penguin Random House is seeking a full-time Account Manager to join their sales team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will maximise book sales across selected Booksellers, develop and manage customer relationships, meet sales budgets, and drive sales through promotional activities.
What you will do:
- Increase sales and maximise opportunities
- Manage the sales process from presentation to order tracking Identify market and promotional opportunities
- Connect marketing campaigns to drive sales
- Prepare reports Attend author events
What you will bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or related field 2-3 years’ sales experience
- Ability to use feedback and data for strategic decisions
- Analytical thinking
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Self-starter, able to work independently
- Experience in publishing or book industry is desirable
