RIP William H. Goetzmann

Pulitzer Prize-winning historian William H. Goetzmann has died aged 80.  The author won the Pulitzer Prize in 1967 for his book Exploration and Empire. His book Beyond the Revolution, which explores the ideas of America's great thinkers from 1776 to 1900, was released last year.
