Hardie Grant moves to HEDS for ANZ distribution

As from 1st July 2018, distribution of Hardie Grant titles in Australia and New Zealand will move to Harper Entertainment Distribution Services (HEDS), a division of HarperCollins.

As from 1st July, 2018, all orders for Hardie Grant and their clients’ titles will be supplied by HEDS.

Returns

HEDS will accept requests for Returns Authorisations (RA’s) for Hardie Grant titles from Monday 2nd July as long as they were invoiced by UBD or HEDS less than 12 months from the date when the customer requests the RA.

UBD will cease to issue RA’s on Friday 29th June. Returns noted on RA’s issued by UBD up until this date will continue to be processed by UBD and credit notes issued to customers through to Thursday 27th September providing returns are received by UBD no later than Friday 31st August. Books received by UBD after Friday 31st August and/or sent to UBD without a RA will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Accounts Payable

Customers are to pay UBD based on invoices up to and including Friday 29th June 2018 less any returns credited by UBD up to 27th September 2018.

All invoices dated 1st July 2018 and beyond are to be paid to HEDS, less any credits issued by HEDS for returns.
