McKinty, Pomare shortlisted for US-based Macavity Award

In the US, Irish-Australian author Adrian McKinty and New Zealand author J P Pomare have been shortlisted for the Mystery Readers International’s Macavity Awards.
McKinty was shortlisted for the Best Mystery Novel category for his novel, The Chain (Hachette), while Pomare was shortlisted for Best First Mystery for Call Me Evie (Hachette).
Each year, the members of Mystery Readers International nominate their favourite mysteries in five categories from the previous year. For more information about the awards, click here.
