Allen & Unwin are thrilled to announce Genevieve Gannon’s bestselling book The Mothers is set to be adapted for television by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Pip Karmel in conjunction with Screen NSW and Goalpost Television.

Set in suburban Sydney, this gripping family drama was inspired by a real-life case of an IVF laboratory mix-up.

The series, filmed in Greater Sydney, will highlight major NSW talent.
