Last chance: book today for the 10th annual SPN Independent Publishing Conference

The Small Press Network’s Independent Publishing Conference is turning 10 this year, and we’re celebrating double digits with discounts and a stellar lineup.

IPC 2021 will be held online over three days (Thurs 25–Sat 27 November) and will feature a Research Day, an Industry Day, and a Workshop Day.

We’re proud to present keynote speakers Dr Laura Jean McKay, author of The Animals in That Country (Scribe) and recent winner of the Arthur C Clarke Award; Dr Anita Heiss, author and Indigenous leader; and Terri-ann White, lifelong book industry figure and founder of Upswell.

Our sessions will include panel discussions and workshops on a wide range of topics including First Nations perspectives, working with booksellers, rights and export, audiobooks, and the rise of speculative fiction.

If you’re an SPN member; a student; unwaged; an IngramSpark customer; or a member of IPEd, the ASA, or most state writers centres you’re eligible for a discount.
