Applications for the 2022 black&write! Writing Fellowships are now open

Hachette Australia is delighted to continue their partnership with State Library of Queensland for their annual black&write! Writing and Editorial Fellowships for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander writers.

Having originally partnered with State Library on the Fellowships in 2016, this continuation will see two Writing Fellowships awarded annually in 2022 and 2023 to unpublished and published Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander writers. The recipients will each receive $10,000 in prize money, manuscript development with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders editors at black&write! and a Hachette Australia publisher, and a publication opportunity with Hachette Australia.
